How to sell on HustleHub
HustleHub gives student businesses in South Africa an online storefront and tools to manage listings, orders and marketing.
How to open your store
- Create your HustleHub account and apply for a store in Seller Studio.
- Add your business details and submit the required identity and student documents for private review. Seller applicants must meet the age and eligibility requirements in the Terms of Use.
- Wait for verification and admin approval. Approval is required before payment setup.
- Read and agree to the subscription terms, then authorise a payment method through Payfast.
- Once payment authorisation is confirmed, your new-seller 30-day trial starts and your store can begin selling.
How much does a seller store cost?
New sellers receive a 30-day free trial after verification, approval and confirmed payment authorisation. Setup is R0. After the trial, the seller subscription is R49 per month, charged automatically through Payfast until cancelled. Your subscription screen shows your billing dates.
Can I cancel during the trial?
Yes. Cancel renewal before the trial ends to avoid the R49 subscription charge. You retain selling access until your trial ends. Always check that cancellation is confirmed on the subscription screen.
What happens when I cancel a paid subscription?
You retain access until the end of your already-paid billing period. Read the subscription and refund terms for the full conditions.
What happens if payment fails?
A failed payment does not immediately delete your store or its records. There is a grace period before selling access is paused if payment remains unpaid. Check the subscription screen and contact support if you need help.
Which tools are included?
Seller Studio includes listing and order management, pickup slots, discount codes, promotions, marketing, an advert maker, analytics and expense tracking. Purchases are arranged directly with your customers; the seller subscription does not pay for their orders.
