The rules of the marketplace.

What HustleHub is
HustleHub, operated by Oratilwe Sehlahla under Sehlahla Apps, is a campus marketplace that helps students find and contact student businesses on their campus. HustleHub is not the seller and is not a party to any sale. Buyer payments are arranged directly with sellers. We do not hold those payments in escrow or insure purchases. The seller activation fee paid to HustleHub is separate and follows the refund policy below. Read the safety guide before you pay anyone.
Accounts
- Verify your email and give accurate information.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone.
Sellers
- You must be 18 or older and a current student, and pass our age, identity, student status, contact checks. New seller applications receive one free Seller Studio trial lasting 30 days from admin approval. No card or payment is required for the trial. After the trial, Seller Studio costs R69.99 per month. Automatic billing is not enabled; we will explain renewal and obtain your agreement when Payfast is available. Without an active subscription after the trial, your store stops accepting new orders; existing orders and messages remain accessible. One trial per verified seller; creating another account does not entitle you to another trial.
- You are responsible for your products, services, prices, taxes and any licences you need.
- Describe items honestly, honour the price shown and fulfil confirmed orders or cancel them promptly.
- Keep your contact number current. Do not upload identity documents or payment proof as listing photos.
Product pictures and promo statuses
Upload only pictures you own or have permission to use. By posting, you allow HustleHub to display that content to operate and promote your listing or store. Pictures and captions must describe the offer honestly and must not include sensitive documents or another person's private details without permission.
A listing may contain up to five pictures. A business may have up to five active picture statuses, each visible for 24 hours. Do not use statuses to promote prohibited goods or make misleading discount claims. HustleHub may hide reported content while investigating.
Previous payments and declined applications
Free trial applications do not require payment. If you paid the previous R69.99 application fee and HustleHub declines that application, we will refund the full fee that we received. We first match your application and payment against the funds actually received; a payment screenshot alone is not confirmation.
Refunds are handled manually by HustleHub. Email oratilesehlahla13@gmail.com with your application email and payment reference to arrange the refund and receive an update. Do not email a card PIN, password, OTP or copies of your ID.
When correcting and resubmitting a declined application, contact support to confirm whether the previous payment is awaiting refund or has already been refunded. Do not pay twice for the same application. An admin must review the resubmission before the store can open.
This policy covers the HustleHub activation fee. Refunds for purchases from a seller must be raised with that seller; you can also report the order to HustleHub.
Buyers
Inspect goods before paying where possible, meet in public campus areas and be polite. Placing an order is a request to the seller, and the arrangement is between you and the seller.
Not allowed
- Anything illegal, stolen or counterfeit.
- Drugs, weapons, and other restricted or dangerous items.
- Alcohol, tobacco, vapes and medicines are prohibited on this marketplace.
- Fake documents, exam or assignment cheating services, and adult content.
- Scams, misleading listings, fake reviews, harassment or spam.
Reviews, reports and enforcement
Reviews must reflect a genuine completed order. You can report listings, stores, orders and picture promos, or submit a tracked request in Settings → Help & reports. Support replies and updates appear there. We may hide listings or pause stores while investigating reports. You may contact support to explain your case or request a review of a decision. We may share information with authorities where required by law.
Availability and liability
We work to keep HustleHub running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Sellers are responsible for the goods and services they offer. Verification describes checks performed and does not guarantee fulfilment. Nothing in these terms removes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protection rights.
Privacy, changes and law
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Contact: oratilesehlahla13@gmail.com.
Cart offers, pickup slots and disputes
Cart orders are requests to one seller. Stock is checked at submission but is not reserved by adding products to a cart. Confirm availability before paying. Discount codes apply to cart orders according to the seller’s percentage, expiry and usage limit. A discount use and pickup booking are counted when the order is placed, including orders subsequently cancelled; they are not automatically released. The seller may adjust capacity or usage limits after reviewing orders.
Order summaries show the saved request details; they are not proof of payment or tax invoices. The seller is responsible for any required invoice and receipt for payment. Disputes allow both parties to submit written statements and evidence. Authorised administrators may review the private order conversation and record an outcome. A recorded outcome does not move funds, guarantee a refund or replace your rights or available external remedies. Do not submit sensitive identity documents, card details, passwords or OTPs through dispute messages.
